Mapsource 6.15.3 – To Unlock Custom Map

Just to share with other Mapsource user on how to unlock map for the latest version of Mapsource. This support software from Garmin make transfer of map, track and waypoint much more easier.

But with the introduction of 2 latest version of Mapsource, the unlock method a bit different from the older version. After googling around the GPS forum, finally I found the answer for that.

Step 1

Open your Mapsource Application

Step 2

Click the “Ultilities>Manage Map Products”

Step 3

Select “Unlock Regions”

Step 4

Click “Add”

Step 5

Key-in your “Unlock Code” then click OK.
